The town of Bracebridge is 12km away from the cottage. This historical town has all the major shopping stores
such as LCBO, Canadire Tire and large grocery stores
2) Does Prospect Lake have a public beach?
Yes, there is sandy public beach that slopes very gradually and is perfect for games such as volleyball and badminton.
(3) How far is the beach from the cottage?>
Just 2 minutes by car. Or if you have a boat it will take you just about 1 minute.

(4) How do we dispose off the garbage?
Near the beach, there are bear proof garbage disposal and recycling containers. You should not leave the garbage on the property
since local wildlife WILL go at it at night

There is horseback riding, golf, Santa’s Village, Sports Village, crafts shopping, and more.

Yes. You can wander along a logging roads through the forest.

The property does have a firepit.
Enjoy a bonfire on cool nights under the stars!

There are also 2 signs posted on Highway 118, alerting cottagers of the fire ratings.
